Biography
Allexis Ousley Howard, known as ‘Lexi’ amongst students and faculty, is a Professor of Practice at East Tennessee State University in the Interior Architecture Program. She is a passionate alumni, completing the Interior Architecture Program in December 2019. She has worked in industry for over 8 years, her specialty primarily in custom residential design. Many of her home designs have been featured in magazines such as ‘NC Architecture’ and won awards in the ‘Western North Carolina Parade of Homes’. Lexi is focused in construction documentation, space planning, software programs, and construction methods. In the future, she hopes to implement AI and VR experiences in the program. She is currently seeking her NCIDQ Certification.
