Mission Statement

It shall be the mission of the BFSA to provide an atmosphere of cultural and social networking among the black faculty and staff of ETSU. It shall be the mission of the organization to aid in the recruitment and welcoming of Black faculty, staff and students, to be a supportive network for new and continuing Black faculty, staff and students, and to improve the retention and quality of life of African-Americans and others at ETSU through the development of a multicultural perspective.
