Choose Your Focus Based on Your Career Goals
ETSU offers both a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with four concentrations to choose from depending on your career goals.

Child Psychology
The child psychology concentration is for students interested in early human development and who want to work with children in a clinical or educational setting.

Clinical Psychological Sciences
The clinical psychological sciences concentration will prepare you for a career in a helping profession, such as counseling, social work, medical settings, and more.

General Psychology
This concentration gives you a well-rounded education in many facets of psychology. A general psychology degree is excellent preparation for almost any career trajectory.

Health Professions
The health professions concentration is designed to prepare students to apply to medical school or other professional health programs. This concentration includes all of the courses recommended by Medical Professions Advisement (MPA) for applying to medical school.
