Need help with your literature search? Looking for insights on writing strategies to finish? Afraid of the thesis/dissertation writing process?
WE CAN HELP!!! Come to the East Tennessee State University Thesis and Dissertation Boot Camp. A collaboration between the ETSU School of Continuing Studies and Academic Outreach, School of Graduate Studies, Writing Center, Sherrod Library, and Graduate Faculty. This boot camp will help in the writing progress leading to completion of the thesis or dissertation.
The emphasis will be on focused writing time (80-100%) in a library computer lab plus options for mini-workshops on topics such as:
*Milestones and Speed Bumps;
*Thesis and Dissertation Style Guides;
*Review of Writing Mechanics;
*The Review and Editing Process;
*Organizing Literature for Review;
PLUS actual review by and feedback from expert thesis/dissertation reader!
Registration covers FOUR sessions: Friday evenings from 5:30-10:00 pm and Saturdays from 9:00 am-6:00 pm (with option of staying until 9:00 pm). You are expected to attend all four sessions.
Session I - May 16-17, 2014;
Session II - May 30-31, 2014;
Session II - June 13-14, 2014;
Session III -June 27-28, 2014
This Boot Camp will take place at ETSU Sherrod Library, room 309.

Appointment with a writing tutor (weekdays) is an extra charge of $15 per hour, available starting session II.
