Event Description:

The ETSU Department of Art & Design Foundations and Slocumb Galleries in partnership with the Urban Redevelopment alliance present the annual Punch In! Foundations Student Exhibitfrom April 15 to May 7, 2014, at the Tipton Gallery. The reception is on May 2nd, First Friday, from 5 to 7 p.m.

The Punch In! Foundations Student Exhibit features work by ETSU undergraduate students selected from 2D Design, 3D Design, Drawing Fundamentals and Color Theory courses by their respective faculty. The show is organized by Foundations Coordinator Andrew Scott Ross and includes multimedia work ranging from drawings, collage, paintings, photography, sculpture, installation and video/sound works.

The Tipton Gallery events are all open to the public free of charge, located at 126 DSpring St., Downtown Johnson City. Gallery hours are Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. with extended hours during receptions and ArtIfact lectures.
