Event Description
I Question America-legacy of Mrs. Fannie Lou Hamer depicts her legacy and impact on the Civil Rights Movement and other activists. Come be enlightened, motivated and inspired through Mrs. Hamer's life from the cotton fields to the Halls of Congress becoming the renowned speaker during the Democratic National Convention in 1964 in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Reverbrating in the fabric of today's society, this one-woman play, travels nationwide impacting many to "Question their America", in the pusuit of equality and justice for all people.
