The ETSU Jazz Program is thrilled to bring yet another international jazz star to the Tri-Cities – trumpeter Sean Jones. Jones is a Grammy Award winner, lead trumpet in the Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra, Professor of Jazz at Duquesne University, and presently the Director of the Cleveland Jazz Orchestra. Jones also has five solo CD’s on the Mack Avenue Records label. Jones will perform with both the ETSU Jazz Combo and the ETSU Jazz Ensemble. His “Mack-Daddy” trumpet playing is sure to amaze and inspire everyone!
