Beginner/ Restorative Yoga |
|
Event Description: For the very beginner or for those who want a refresher course in the basics of yoga postures, breathing and philosophy. We will practice standing, sitting and lying down poses, as well as balancing, toning and restorative exercises. Learn how to work towards gentle tension during stretches, using good alignment and body mechanics. Yoga is not competitive, even with oneself! Simple breathing techniques are incorporated to relax, intensify focus, and ease into flexibility. Each class ends with 10 minutes of a guided relaxation period. Develop an appreciation and awareness of your body, mind, and spirit as they blossom through your discovery of yoga! |
