WE CAN HELP!!!
Come to the East Tennessee State University Thesis and Dissertation Boot Camp.
A collaboration between the ETSU School of Continuing Studies and Academic Outreach, School of Graduate Studies, Writing Center, Sherrod Library, and Graduate Faculty.
This boot camp will help in the writing progress leading to completion of the thesis or dissertation.

The emphasis will be on focused writing time in a library computer lab plus options for mini-workshops on topics such as: Milestones and Speed Bumps; Thesis and
Dissertation Style Guides; Review of Writing Mechanics;  The Review and Editing Process; Organizing Literature for Review; PLUS actual review by and feedback from expert thesis/dissertation reader!

Registration covers FOUR sessions: 
Friday evenings from 6-10:00 pm and Saturdays from 8:30 am-6:00 pm. 
You are expected to attend all four sessions.

Session I  January 25 - 26, 2013;  Session II February 8 - 9, 2013;
Session III  February 22 - 23, 2013; Session IV March 22 - 23, 2013

This Boot Camp will take place at  ETSU Sherrod Library, room 309

Follow the links for registration. Registration includes snacks and Saturday lunches.  Appointment with a writing tutor is an extra charge of $15 per hour; available starting session II. "The writing tutors offer help with organization, clarity and correctness, and provide the writer with an engaged audience with whom they can discuss various strategies for improving their work." Emphasis is on grammar, punctuation, sentence and paragraph development.
